Hola, me llamo Raúl, soy español, valenciano. Jamás olvidaré la impresión que Johnny Copeland me causó en su concierto en la ciudad de Cullera (Valencia) en el año 1987. Su música me encanta, especialmente (specially) "Jessanne". Su muerte me impactó mucho. Era muy grande.

Thank you for this wonderful online tribute to Johnny Copeland.
I consider myself blessed and fortunate to have seen Mr Copeland play live on two occasions.
What can I say? The man was a warm, fantastic performer who made everyone feel special and happy.
Thanks for the unforgettable memories and enduring legacy of great music.

I have a bunch of Johnny Copeland albums, including one that's autographed. My favorite of his songs is Love Utopia -- he's a great writer. I also love the album Bringing It All Back Home, and think Rounder should reissue it on CD. I was wicked lucky to have seen one of only 9 concerts Johnny did showcasing music from that album and featuring some African musicians -- it was totally fantastic. I think the album is a modern classic, and wish it were more recognized. I miss Mr. Copeland.
